Halloween II The Game Board Game

Fright-Rags and Stop the Killer have announced a Kickstarter campaign for Halloween II: The Game. The first edition of the upcoming board game is now available for pre-order for $59 until July 13th. The companies expect order fulfillment to begin in December of this year, and the initial goal of $17,500 has been met.

Michael Myers is back in the retro-style tabletop game based on the classic slasher sequel. Play as Dr. Loomis, Jimmy, Sheriff Brackett, Nurse Karen, and more characters from the film as you try to stop The Shape from reaching Haddonfield Memorial Hospital and killing Laurie Strode.

Made for 1-4 players, Halloween II: The Game features a double-sided board that allows Michael to stalk and kill with three levels of difficulty. Collect weapons, face obstacles, set up roadblocks, draw unpredictable cards, answer trivia questions, and flick the retro spinner to determine your fate.

The Kickstarter-exclusive edition includes two expansion packs with eight additional player pieces (including Laurie Strode, Budd, Marion Chambers, and others), 10 more game cards, and a trivia setback round.

The campaign lists several game upgrades that will be unlocked if stretch goals are met, including:

  • Shiny gold foiling on the Officer Hunt Save Badge game piece and both sides of the board
  • A clear UV gloss coating added to the “Kill,” “Stalk,” “Shape Zone,” and Halloween II logo on both sides of the board
  • A “Trick or Treat” Halloween II Jack-o-lantern logo collectible sticker
  • An orange “Trick or Treat” Halloween II cloth draw-string bag for game piece storage
  • A Halloween II: The Game exclusive poster
  • A Halloween II deluxe dice shaker
  • Two additional Michael Myers game pieces
  • Two additional metal weapons — Dr. Loomis’s hypodermic needle and lighter
