Two months after its debut in theaters, the creature features horror film Primate is finally hitting Paramount+ this month. The film is set to start streaming in the United States and Canada on Wednesday, March 25.
Directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City), Primate follows a group of friends as they fight for their lives when their pet chimp, Ben, goes on a bloody rampage. The movie stars Johnny Sequoyah (Dexter: New Blood), Jessica Alexander (The Beauty), Troy Kotsur (CODA), Victoria Wyant, Gia Hunter, Benjamin Cheng, Charlie Mann, Tienne Simon, and Miguel Torres Umba.
Horror Geek Life’s official review of the movie reads, “There is one reason to see Primate: to be horrified by what a chimpanzee can do to humans (while full of rabies, of course). Put aside the flaws, sit back, and enjoy this practical effects-driven, terror-fueled fun piece of cinema—you won’t be disappointed.”
