Sleepaway Camp is having a special reunion at this year’s Retro Invasion Weekend convention. Three of the stars from the original movie – Felissa Rose, Jonathan Tiersten, and Katherine Kamhi – will be in attendance to meet with fans and take part in camp-themed photo-ops. For big fans of the franchise and especially of the original movie, this opportunity may be impossible to pass up if you’ll be in the Cleveland area.

Retro Invasion Weekend takes place on the weekend of May 31-June 2, 2019. It’s located at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at 1100 Crocker Road in Westlake, Ohio. Other confirmed guests for the event include legendary horror host Joe Bob Briggs, Diane Franklin (Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure), Danny Hicks (Evil Dead 2), Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), Toni Hudson (Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III), Clayton Rohner (April Fool’s Day), Lisa Gottlieb (Freddy’s Nightmares), and more.

In the original Sleepaway Camp, killer camper Angela Baker was played by scream queen Felissa Rose. She would reprise the role in the sequel Return to Sleepaway Camp. Jonathan Tiersten played her cousin Ricky in the film, although he subbed for Rose during some of the movie’s kill scenes. Both end up surviving the film, but the same can’t be said for Katherine Kamhi’s character Meg, who’s stabbed to death in the shower.

At Retro Invasion Weekend, all three Sleepaway Camp stars will be providing camp-themed photo-ops for the fans. They will even be in camp uniforms for the complete Sleepaway Camp experience. Sales are said to be limited and purchasing info will be coming out soon, so you can stay tuned for those announcements by following Retro Invasion Weekend on Twitter and Facebook.
