Funko collecting Rob Zombie fans now have good reason to be excited, as the filmmaker has announced on Instagram he’s getting the Pop! treatment. With nearly every fictional character from pop culture having become a Pop! figure, Funko has also been adding various filmmakers to the line. Now, joining the likes of names like Guillermo del Toro and Jason Blum, Zombie is the next movie maker to be given the honor.
Along with the announcement, Zombie also unveiled a first look at his upcoming Pop! figure, which you can take a look at below.
Funko has been absolutely killing it lately with all the new upcoming Pop! figures which have been officially announced. Recently, new Pop! figures were revealed for Steve “The Crocodile Hunter” Irwin and Tom Hanks as Mister Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, and I want them all. I can’t imagine any reason why Rob Zombie wouldn’t fit in nicely right in between them on my mantle.
While the Funko! figure is only listed as “coming soon” by Zombie, we do know when 3 from Hell will be hitting theaters. Courtesy of Fathom Events, the anticipated sequel will be given a special three-day theatrical event in the United States in select theaters on Sept. 16-18. Each day will have its own unique special extras to go along with the screening, and this writer will be there on day one to get one of those exclusive posters given out on the first day. Only the first 50 attendees at each theater will be able to get their hands on one.
