His mama would probably think Funko Pop! dolls are “the Devil,” but Bobby Boucher will soon be getting two of his very own. As revealed by Funko, the Adam Sandler character from the 1998 film is getting the Pop! treatment, and if you’ve seen the classic comedy, a look at the figures will have you remembering some of the most quotable lines from the movie, complete with Sandler’s unique voice.
Funko will be offering two variants of Bobby Boucher for their Pop! figures based on The Waterboy. A widely-available version will have the character as he appears when working as a waterboy, complete with a water in hand along with some spare cups. The second version, only available at Target, feature Bobby in the football uniform he wears after he becomes a member of the team. All we’re missing for this to feel complete would be the characters from the film played by Kathy Bates, Fairuza Balk, and Henry Winkler!

Synopsis: Raised by his overprotective mother, Helen (Kathy Bates), Bobby Boucher Jr. (Adam Sandler) is the water boy for a successful college football team coached by Red Beaulieu (Jerry Reed). When Beaulieu fires Bobby, he takes up the same position for a losing rival team, led by despairing Coach Klein (Henry Winkler). After witnessing Bobby beat up a player who teased him too much, Klein adds him to the roster as a linebacker. Soon, Klein’s players are championship contenders.
