The Child from The Mandalorian is getting the Funko Pop treatment as revealed by the company in an official announcement, along with some photos of the figures. Nicknamed “Baby Yoda,” the pint-sized character has become the breakout star of the popular Star Wars series, and we knew it wasn’t going to be long before the merchandise came rolling in. While there’s certainly going to be a lot of Baby Yoda merch to choose from, the Funko Pop figures are perhaps the most adorable of them all.
Two different versions of The Mandalorian‘s The Child will be made available to start with. One will be a standard-sized Funko Pop figure, while the “near-lifesize” version will stand much taller at 10″ high. Despite the size difference, both Funko Pops look very similar, as they are even posed in the same way and otherwise look exactly the same beyond their height. Additional details will be coming later, but according to Funko, The Child (a.k.a. Baby Yoda) will start shipping in Spring 2020.
