This September, Michael Myers will be coming back home to Haddonfield. Illfonic’s Halloween game will be arriving on PC and consoles, and in the meantime, fans have been eager to find out more information about the game. An exciting new update has just been divulged with an official look at the five playable characters opposite Michael Myers, dubbed the “Heroes of Haddonfield.”

Images and additional info about the characters were shared on the game’s official website, HalloweenGame.com. Of course, they make up some of the different tropes that fans would expect from the world of slasher movies. Chances are that other characters may be added down the line with DLCs, but there’s plenty to dive into for now with the introduction of the core five.

The new characters include Thomas Armitage, a 21-year-old college football player described as a “courageous leader” and dedicated athlete; Jennifer Aarons, a quiet and kind young woman working at Haddonfield’s bookstore to help pay for her college education; Tanya Harrison, the carefree social butterfly who works at a local record store and is loved by everyone; Rachel Calahan, the antisocial punk rocker who has a morbid fascination with the dead and is taking classes to become a mortician; and Marcus Navarro, a nomadic biker who enjoys having drinks and playing pool with the residents of Haddonfield despite his “lone-wolf nature.”

Take a peek at the new images of this cast of characters below.

What’s known about the Halloween game is that it will offer a single-player mode in addition to its asymmetrical multiplayer mode. Illfonic has promised that new info about each character’s unique personalities and traits will be revealed in the near future, along with how they will be involved in both game modes. Of course, Michael Myers will also be playable, so gamers will have opportunities to take out each one of these characters when playing the upcoming game.
