Telltale Games have announced the sequel to 2013’s The Wolf Among Us. While we’ll have to wait for an actual trailer, the company have released a short announcement video with some of the games voice cast. No official release date has been revealed yet, but the game is scheduled for 2018.
The Wolf Among Us was a truly exceptional game, based on Bill Willingham’s popular comic book series; Fables. The world of Fables introduces us to the residents of Fabletown, a New York borough that houses all the characters from popular folklore. From Snow White to Mr. Toad, all of your favourite childhood characters live together in secret, hiding themselves from the humans, known as “Mundies”. The adventure game followed the story of Bigby Wolf, the infamous Big Bad Wolf, who takes on the role of Sheriff of Fabletown. The Noir-inspired detective game was a major success for Telltale, and its dark and gritty take on popular fables was a joy to play. Here’s hoping that the sequel can live up to those high standards.
