Team Ninja have announced a sequel to Nioh, last year’s excellent samurai action game, titled Nioh 2. The first game released in February 2017 and found success, selling over two million copies. It’s easy to see why it is getting a sequel.

The teaser does not show any gameplay, nor does it give fans a lot to go on just yet, but it noticeably does not show the previous game’s protagonist, an Irish-born samurai named William. Nioh was released for the PlayStation 4 and later on the PC. There is no word yet if Nioh 2 will be released on the PC as well, but is being developed for the PlayStation 4.

We will have more information as it becomes available, in the meantime why don’t you check out our review of the previous entry? You can also check out the teaser trailer below!
