Battletoads, the game that literally made me head-butt a wall once, is due for a redux, and will appear on Xbox One in the very near future. The game, which was announced at this year’s E3 conference, will include incredible hand-drawn graphics, and will allow for impressive three-player co-op gameplay.
Battletoads will also be an Xbox One exclusive. Beyond that, we don’t know much. From looking at the teaser, though, it will be a fun and silly love letter to the original games, which were actually devised as a way to rival the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Whether the new iteration will be as difficult as the beloved 1991 NES classic remains to be seen, but if it’s even close to being that hard then we’d highly recommend signing up for some counselling sessions before playing. Head-butting walls is not advised.
