The Sleepaway Camp horror movie series will forever have its place with horror fans. Released in 1983, the original film stars Felissa Rose as bullied camper Angela Baker, who goes haywire and brutally murders a bunch of people at the camp. It’s perhaps most famous for its bizarre twist ending, which is really just something that needs to be seen to be believed. Rose would be replaced in the role for its two sequels, but was brought back for a cameo role in 2008’s Return to Sleepaway Camp.

Now, Rose is offering her involvement with the series once again, executive producing an upcoming documentary about the franchise. Called Angela: The Official Sleepaway Camp Documentary, the film comes from Michael Perez Entertainment. Described as “the first definitive documentary on everyone’s favorite female slasher,” the four-hour doc will explore all four films in the series: Sleepaway CampSleepaway Camp II: Unhappy CampersSleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland, and Return to Sleepaway Camp.
