Michael Myers has had seemingly countless of his own action figures and plush dolls over the years, but the same can’t be said for his Halloween franchise arch-nemesis, Laurie Strode. This is something that’s a bit puzzling when you really think about it. Portrayed by Jamie Lee Curtis in five separate films in the series, the iconic character is one of the most beloved heroes of the horror genre. That the character hasn’t had any action figures by 2019 is practically a travesty.
Finally, the first Laurie Strode action figure is becoming a reality, courtesy of the talented people at NECA. A few months back, NECA unveiled a teaser image of the figure, revealing that it was in the works. Today, the company has released a full image gallery showing off the Laurie figure in several new poses and angles. Based on her appearance in Halloween (2018), the figure is not only the first action figure made for Laurie Strode, but also the first to have the likeness of Jamie Lee Curtis (that’s right – there are somehow no Freaky Friday action figures, either).
