It is no secret I am a bit obsessed with eras long past, especially the ’80s. If you have followed any of my articles here at Horror Geek Life, you will most certainly notice a trend. Today will be no different than any other as a new project has made its way to my desk, and I’m most certainly intrigued. Cyborg: Deadly Machine is currently funding on Kickstarter, and it looks to be right in my wheelhouse.
Written and directed by Masebrothers, Cyborg: Deadly Machine pays homage to the sci-fi action films of the ’80s and early 90’s, like The Terminator, Predator, Class of 1999, Hardware, and Nemesis. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic future follows Stacy, a resistance fighter who is trying to locate Alex Rayne, a simple chef who may hold the key to destroy the cyborgs created by Magnatron Corp., the ruling organization run by the machines. On their trail is the C-9000, the last Cyborg of his generation, and it will stop at nothing to destroy them and anyone else who may cross its path.

They have launched a Kickstarter campaign with some killer perks. With just over two weeks to go, if you only contribute to one campaign this year, you might want to consider Cyborg: Deadly Machine.
