Kicking off Ubisoft’s E3 2019 briefing, we were shown a pretty cool gameplay trailer for their new and third title in the Watchdogs series. Watch Dogs Legion takes place in London during the downfall of state following Brexit. London has become a surveillance state with freedom taking a backseat to oppression.
In Watch Dogs Legion, players must amass a resistance to take down the forces oppressing the once great city. What makes Watch Dogs Legion unique? You can recruit, hack, and play as ANYONE. No NPC is off limits. You can step in the shoes of any character you see walking the streets of London and commit them to the cause.

Every NPC (or, I guess, technically PC) will have their own backstory, animations, and voice acting. Not only that, but cinematics will change in real-time, depending on who and what kind of person you are playing as.
Watch Dogs was never really for me, but I have to admit the gameplay for Watch Dogs Legion looks like a fun time. With the ability to become any NPC in the area and all the tech and gadgets, fans of the series are sure to enjoy this entry.
Watch Dogs Legion is available now for pre-order and will launch on March 6th, 2020.
Watch Dogs is an action-adventure game released in 2014 that allows players to take on the role of super hacker, Aiden Pearce, as he goes on missions around a Chicago-inspired city. He is able to change traffic lights, transfer funds from random bank accounts, interfere with cellphone signals, and more from his smartphone and by accessing other tech. A sequel, Watch Dogs 2, was released in 2016 and follows hacker Marcus Holloway around an area based on the San Francisco Bay Area.
