The Room writer, director, producer, and star Tommy Wiseau has taken to social media to announce his newest surprise project SpaceWorld. Intended to be a new web-series, the pilot episode has already been released, and more episodes will likely follow if the video gets enough attention. In the description, the series is being labeled as “The Room meets Star Wars,” and really, that’s probably the best way to put it. When you watch the amazing video for yourself, you’ll understand.
For those unaware, Wiseau is known for creating The Room, which has the reputation for being the “best worst movie” ever made. Fans regularly hold screenings of the film as it’s developed a cult following for being so unintentionally hilarious. It had gotten to the point where fans are quoting the dialogue along with the actors on-screen when seeing the continued theatrical showings of the flick, as it just never seems to get old. The story was further forever made legendary when the subject of its making was explored in the movie The Disaster Artist, which depicted James Franco as Tommy Wiseau and Dave Franco as Greg Sestero.

In SpaceWorld, Wiseau plays a space bounty hunter named TX. Joining him on his spaceship are his merry band of extra-terrestrial outcasts, though none are as kooky as TX himself – thanks to that trademark voice delivery and bizarre dialogue Wiseau always brings to the table. Greg Sestero also appears in the pilot as Drago, TX’s next bounty, who retreats to a dangerous planet to avoid being captured. Without a doubt, the video is undeniably just as insane as you would probably expect, but it is damn sure entertaining.
