Dead by Daylight is about to get a little stranger, as the next DLC chapter will add new content adapted from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. The DLC of course brings in the Demogorgon as a playable killer along with an exclusive map of the Underground Complex. Also included are two new playable survivors, Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, the characters played by Joe Keery and Natalia Dyer.
For anyone unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer video game for consoles and PC developed by Behaviour Interactive. In each round, one player controls a killer while four others play as survivors. Aside from a plethora of original characters, the game has brought in many popular names from various horror movies, such as Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Ash Williams (Ash vs Evil Dead), Jigsaw (Saw), and Michael Myers (Halloween). Given the immense popularity of Stranger Things, it’s not shocking to see the Netflix series as the next to join the list.

From the video description:
“The Chapter introduces a new Killer and two new Survivors to the realm of The Entity: the monstrous, otherworldly Demogorgon is the new untamable Killer. Against it stands not one, but two, new Survivors: Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble.
The Stranger Things Chapter comes with a new map, the Underground Complex. Located below the Hawkins National Laboratory, this grim compound caused an inter-dimensional rift that released dozens of creatures before being sealed off.”
Look for the Stranger Things DLC to be available on Dead by Daylight on PC and consoles in September!
