‘Jurassic World 3’ to Reunite Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill

Jurassic World 3 will have an awesome Jurassic Park reunion, as three major stars of the original film are set to reprise their roles. Straight from Amblin, it has been revealed that the upcoming sequel will see the returns of Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm, and Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant. The three will star alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard when the film premieres in 2021.

This reunion will mark the first time all three stars from the original movie have appeared together in a sequel. Neill had a major role in Jurassic Park III with Dern appearing in a minor role, but neither have been seen in the Jurassic World movies. Goldblum reprised the role of Malcolm in the Jurassic Park sequel The Lost World and has since played the part again in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. In many ways, the film will be just as much of a sequel to the original Jurassic Park trilogy as it is a follow-up to Fallen Kingdom.

Jurassic World helmer Colin Trevorrow is directing Jurassic World 3 with a screenplay co-written with Emily Carmichael. The film will explore what has happened with the dinosaurs that escaped in Fallen Kingdom, presumably bringing in the biggest experts from the past for help dealing with the situation. The film is scheduled to begin filming in the spring of 2020, and is also set to premiere in theaters on June 11, 2021.
