LEGO is killing it once again with the reveal of their new playset for the 1989 Batmobile, as seen in Tim Burton’s classic Batman movie with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. Retailing at $249.99, you might need some of Bruce Wayne’s money to purchase the set, though this is in line with how similar LEGO sets have been priced. The product will serve as a part of LEGO’s Black Friday line-up and will go on sale on Nov. 29.

This LEGO version of the Batmobile measures over 60cm long and consists of over 3,306 pieces. In other words, as awesome as the final product will look, expect to put some time into building the iconic vehicle from scratch. Better yet, the set also comes with three unique figures based on characters from the movie: Batman, Joker, and Vickie Vale. They’ll also come with their own display stand.

From LEGO:

“Die-hard fans will love authentic features such as the slide-open cockpit with a new-for-November-2019 wraparound windshield element, 2 hidden machine guns with a pop-up function activated by turning the turbine exhaust, and decorative grappling hooks on each side of the vehicle. The Batman toy car comes with a rotating display stand (with an attached information plate with 1989 Batmobile™ statistics) for ease of viewing from any angle.”

LEGO has also released a reveal video for the 1989 Batmobile set, and you can take a look at it in the tweet below. The set is undoubtedly awesome and would make an amazing display piece for major fans of the original Batman movie, which still holds up as one of the very best Batman movies of them all after three decades. Sigh… take my money now, LEGO. You can find out more information and see lots of photos of the set over at LEGO.com!
