April 2020 is bringing several new horror movies to the Netflix streaming library, and leading the pack is the classic horror-comedy film Killer Klowns from Outer Space. A collaborative effort from the Chiodo Brothers, the cult classic movie has long been a favorite for fans of the genre since it was first released in 1988. Over three decades later, the film remains just as entertaining as it’s always been, and horror fans can revisit the Killer Klowns when Killer Klowns from Outer Space lands on Netflix on April 1st.

If you have yet to watch the bizarre film, you’re in for a real treat. As it sounds, the movie follows a group of survivors in a small town overrun by murderous clown-like aliens with acid pies and killer ray guns. Those unlucky enough to fall prey to the “Klowns” wind up on display in their circus tent spaceship in a cotton candy cocoon, waiting for the creatures to suck out their blood through long, twisty straws. Clearly, it’s a real hoot, though perhaps not so much if you are deathly afraid of clowns.
