Following a previous leak, game studio Naughty Dog officially revealed the highly anticipated remake of The Last Of Us (now titled The Last Of Us Part 1) during the first day of Summer Games Fest 2022 on Thursday. The remake will be coming later this year to the PlayStation 5 and will eventually hit PC, but no date has been given for that.
The upcoming The Last Of Us remake will be a complete overhaul of the game, modernizing various aspects to bring the game’s experience closer to that of its sequel. The voice cast stays the same, but character animations will improve. Players will get brand-new enemy A.I. more on the level of The Last Of Us Part II, new combat options, and 60FPS performance as well.
The Last Of Us Part 1 Remake will be packaged with the DLC, The Last Of Us: Left Behind, and will launch on PlayStation 5 on September 2nd, 2022, with a PC launch to follow. The game will retail for USD 69.99. A Digital Deluxe version will be available for USD 79.99. It will come with various early unlocks to make the early game a little bit easier, like increased crafting, healing, reload upgrades, clip upgrades, etc.

Additionally, the Firefly Edition will also be available at USD 99.99. It will include a Steelbook, display case, all four issues of The Last Of Us: American Dreams comic book with brand new cover art, and all the digital bonuses that come with the Digital Deluxe version.
