Ghostface will soon be back on the big screen with the release of the new sequel Scream 7. The slasher sequel will hit theaters on Feb. 27, and ahead of the movie’s arrival, a first look at Cinemark’s tie-in popcorn bucket has been revealed.
Images of the popcorn bucket are quickly spreading on social media, garnering some attention from horror movie fans. It is in the shape of Ghostface’s head, and it has the added detail of having blood dripping down the mask’s white face. This will provide a macabre way for fans to enjoy their popcorn while watching the events of the slasher flick playing out on the big screen, but for Scream fans, it might just be perfect.

The popcorn bucket is not yet available to purchase and pricing is unknown, but going by the structure of similar collectibles from recent years, it’s likely to be around $35. Once it drops, chances are that the stock of popcorn buckets will sell quickly. There has been no shortage of popcorn buckets for movies across different genres these days, though ones made for popular horror film franchises seem to be especially popular.

Scream 7 will bring back Neve Campbell to play Sidney once again after she was absent in Scream VI. Will this finally be when Sidney meets her end? After 30 years, it’s possible that her luck will finally run out after a lifetime of surviving Ghostface encounters. No matter how many of them fail with their attempts to be the one to take out Sidney, there’s always another murderer (and most often, two) masking up to take a stab at it.
