‘Halloween Kills’ Brings Back Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace

Halloween 2018

Laurie Strode lost two of her best friends in John Carpenter’s Halloween, but the babysitter did manage to protect the two children she was hired to watch – Lindsey Wallace and Tommy Doyle. Portrayed by Kyle Richards and Brian Anderson, the children spend much of their Halloween night watching scary movies before they’re soon terrorized by the real boogeyman of Haddonfield. Fortunately for them, they both survive the night, but it appears they may not have seen the last of Michael Myers just yet.

According to HalloweenMovies.com, Kyle Richards will reprise the role of Lindsey Wallace, marking her return to the franchise after over 40 years. Series producer Malek Akkad has also commented on the awesome casting announcement, confirming Richards’ involvement in the film. “We couldn’t be happier, and are so excited that Kyle is coming home to her Halloween roots,” says Akkad.

It has also been recently reported Tommy Doyle will appear in Halloween Kills along with Lindsey Wallace, although Brian Anderson won’t be reprising the role. This time, the character will be played by Anthony Michael Hall. While not the same actor in the role in this case, Hall is a fine actor and should be sufficient as an adult Tommy. Previously, an older version of the character was played by Paul Rudd in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, and Skyler Gisondo played the role in Rob Zombie’s 2007 remake, making Hall the fourth person to play Tommy Doyle in the series.

Directed by David Gordon Green and again starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends both already have official release dates on the board. Halloween Kills will hit theaters on Oct. 16, 2020, with Halloween Ends following on Oct. 15, 2021.
