EA and BioWare have revealed the first gameplay footage for the brand-new IP, Anthem, and it looks terrific. Check out the teaser trailer to get you hyped.
Anthem is an open-world, multiplayer, third-person shooter/RPG. Players will take on the role of explorers in a post-apocalyptic, seemingly alien world. Leaving the safety of the walled cities humanity have gathered in, players will don exosuits known as “Javelins.” BioWare have confirmed that Javelins will be fully customisable both visually and functionally.
Players in Anthem will team up with up to four friends, or alone, to explore the dangerous and exotic ruins and jungles of the world, battling hostile titanic monsters and alien enemies. Players will be able to gather new weapons and armour in the world to customise their personal explorer. Javelins also have an impressive level of mobility, allowing players to soar through the skies, dive through water, and survive destructive and violent storms.
