I’d buy that for a dollar! On May 26th, the video game Mortal Kombat 11 will be releasing its next DLC called Aftermath, providing additional content to the popular fighting game. A new trailer for the DLC reveals that Aftermath will be bringing a new story mode for the game’s current roster, and even better, it will also introduce RoboCop as the next playable character. Yes, the RoboCop, as portrayed by Peter Weller in the original RoboCop movie trilogy, and yes, the game also features Weller’s voice and likeness.

Previous DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 has brought in other playable fighters, such as Shang Tsung, The Joker, Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn, and The Terminator. The new story content for Aftermath will include some of the previously-released DLC characters while also introducing some new ones for players to control, as along with RoboCop, Aftermath will also add Fujin and Sheeva to the game. NetherRealm will also give all Mortal Kombat 11 players free access to a content update that includes new Stages, Stage Fatalities, and Friendships.

One of the most exciting aspects of interesting RoboCop is that The Terminator is already present in Mortal Kombat 11. This means we can soon see pop culture’s most famous cyborgs duking it out Mortal Kombat style. The inclusion of Friendships also means we can see the two have a peaceful ending to their battle as well. While the trailer doesn’t reveal any of RoboCop’s fatalities at this point, we can only assume they’ll be as creatively brutal as the other characters have gotten. I would also expect to see lots of RoboCop movie references and quotes used with the characters and his abilities.
The Mortal Kombat 11 DLC Aftermath will be available on all available platforms for the game starting on May 26th, and you can watch the official trailer for the DLC below!
