It has been a decade since the animated sci-fi series Futurama ended its run. But the show is coming back from the grave (once again) with all-new episodes. Ahead of its July 24th premiere, Hulu released the Futurama season 11 trailer featuring the original cast. The streaming service has ordered a 20-episode run and currently has the full series (seasons 1-10) available for your binging pleasure.

Season 11 synopsis: The series follows Philip J. Fry (Billy West), a New York City pizza delivery boy, who accidentally freezes himself in 1999 and gets defrosted in the year 3000. In this astonishing New New York, he befriends hard-drinking robot Bender (John DiMaggio) and falls in love with cyclops Leela (Katey Sagal).

The trio finds work at the Planet Express Delivery Company, founded by Fry’s doddering descendant, Professor Hubert Farnsworth. Together with accountant Hermes Conrad, assistant Amy Wong, and alien lobster Dr. John Zoidberg, they embark on thrilling adventures that take them to every corner of the universe.

The Futurama season 11 trailer shows off the sci-fi, futuristic action and takes on some familiar themes. The gang (and the rest of society) is dealing with a new epidemic called Explovid-23. To get things back to normal, Professor Farnsworth creates a new vaccine in the form of an even more invasive nose swab. The show will also explore themes of cryptocurrency, cancel culture, and more. Leela and Fry’s relationship will also be continued, with an Alexa-like AI offering to spice things up for the couple. And we see a return of the fan-favorite evil Robot Santa.
